Four or five hours let you do what is impossible by car: run up the Como branch, cross the centre of the lake and touch the three villages that face each other across the water.
Varenna with its coloured staircases and lovers' walk, Menaggio with its open promenade, Bellagio with its arcades. We choose together where to stop for lunch and how long to spend at each stop: the programme is built on the day, around the weather and how much walking you feel like.
