Weddings and private events on Lake Como
Bridal arrivals by Venetian taxi, guest transfers between villas and churches, and a private photo cruise at sunset.
Our role
A boat that works, not just one that looks good
On Lake Como a boat is not a scenic detail: it is the simplest way to move between the church, the villa and the hotel. With a fleet of original wooden taxi boats we carry the couple and their guests along the whole shore, from Como to Varenna, on a schedule built around the day's programme.
We work alongside wedding planners, photographers and the historic villas of the lake. We dress the boat with flowers and ribbons if you want it, keep it bare if you prefer the wood to speak for itself, and stay available for as long as it takes: waiting is part of the job.

Services
What we can do for your day
Bridal arrival and departure
Arriving at the ceremony from the water and leaving after the vows, with the mahogany boat waiting at the villa or church jetty.
Guest transfers
Shuttles between hotel, church and reception, run with multiple boats for larger groups.
Photo cruise on board
A private sunset cruise for the couple, photographer aboard and the lake perfectly still: the best part of the reportage.
Marriage proposals
A sunset cruise prepared down to the detail: sparkling wine, flowers, music and a skipper who is in on the plan.
Anniversaries and birthdays
Small private celebrations on board, with an aperitivo and a villa cruise at the right hour of the day.
Shoots and video
Photo and film production for brands, ateliers and photographers, using the boat as a set on the water.
Planning
How we plan the day
1. You tell us the programme
Date, ceremony venue, reception villa and the number of guests to move.
2. We build the timeline
We set boarding times, jetties and cruising times with realistic, not optimistic, margins.
3. We check the jetties
We verify access at the villa or hotel jetty and agree on alternatives in advance.
4. On the wedding day
Boat polished, skipper in uniform and the phone always on for last-minute changes.
FAQ
Wedding questions
How far ahead should we book?+
For Saturdays between May and September we suggest six to twelve months. Weekday dates are often available a few weeks out.
How many guests can you move?+
Up to 11 guests per boat. Larger groups work with successive runs or additional boats, as long as we build it into the timeline.
Can the boat be decorated?+
Yes. Flowers, ribbons and cushions can be added; we agree the fixing points with your florist so the woodwork is protected.
What if the weather is bad?+
The covered cabin and awning handle light rain. In seriously bad weather we agree a land-based plan B and charge no penalty on our side.
Tell us about your date
Send us your date, ceremony venue and guest numbers and we reply with a timeline and a quote.
