Bellagio by vintage boat: the pearl of Lake Como from the water
Bellagio sits on the tip that splits Lake Como in two. Approaching it in a classic mahogany taxi is the way the village was meant to be seen: stepped alleys climbing from the shore, cypress gardens, and the long façade of Villa Serbelloni above the harbour.
From the water you read Bellagio as one picture: the promenade lined with plane trees, the pastel houses of Pescallo on the other side of the promontory, and the two branches of the lake opening left towards Como and right towards Lecco. Our skipper slows down along the shoreline so you can photograph the village without the crowd of the ferry pier.
A Bellagio run pairs naturally with the villas of the Tremezzina opposite — Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbianello are only minutes away — so most guests combine the two on a two or three hour cruise. We can also drop you at the Bellagio jetty for lunch or a coffee and pick you up afterwards.

Planning your Bellagio cruise

- One hour is enough for the village and the nearest villas; two hours lets you cross to the Tremezzina; three hours adds Comacina Island.
