Sunset cruise with aperitivo — 2 hours

We set off about two hours before sunset, when the wind drops and the water settles. We cruise slowly past Villa Olmo and the Cernobbio shore, then cut the engine at the point where the sun slides behind the mountains of Brunate and the Intelvi valley.

On board we set up sparkling wine, glasses and ice; on request we add a cheese board or a hamper from a delicatessen in Como. This is the cruise couples choose for anniversaries and marriage proposals, and the best light of the day for photographs.

   Slow cruising past Villa Olmo, Villa Erba and Villa Pizzo.

   Engine off

   We stop offshore for the aperitivo, with a still lake and warm light.

   Return with the lights on

   Back to Como as the houses and jetties start to glow.
