How much does a private boat tour on Lake Como cost?

A private boat is priced per boat, not per person, and that single fact explains most of the confusion. A shared group tour charges each seat, so a family of six pays six times. The first factor is time on the water. Cruises run from one hour to a full day, and the hourly logic is simple: the longer you stay out, the further down the lake you get and the lower the cost per hour becomes. One hour is a taste of Como and Cernobbio; three hours reach Bellagio and Villa del Balbianello; a full day can cross the lake and back with stops ashore.

The second is group size. The boat carries up to eleven guests plus the skipper, and larger groups carry a small supplement to cover the extra service on board. The third is the boarding point: departing from Como is included, while collecting you at Cernobbio, Tremezzo, Lenno, Bellagio or Varenna adds the transfer time to reach you. Season and time of day matter too, with sunset slots in high summer being the most requested hours of the year.
