Boat hire for Bellagio: leave from Como or be collected in Bellagio

Bellagio is the village most visitors want to see from the water, and a private boat with a skipper is the most relaxed way to do it. There are two ways to plan it: start from Como and cruise to Bellagio, or ask us to collect you at the Bellagio jetty.

Starting from Como is the simplest. Boarding in Como is included in the price, and a three-hour cruise reaches Bellagio, Villa del Balbianello and Comacina Island in one route. You see the villa shoreline, Nesso and the centre of the lake on the way, then the point where the lake divides into its two branches.

Being collected in Bellagio is useful if you are staying there. The boat departs from Como to reach you, so the pick-up adds travel time before and after your tour. A two-hour tour from Bellagio means about four hours of boat time in total, because the boat needs about an hour to reach you and an hour to return. That extra time is shown in the booking page before you pay, so there are no surprises.

You do not need to stay on board the whole time. We can drop you at the Bellagio jetty for lunch or a coffee and collect you afterwards, which suits guests who want the village on foot and the villas from the water.

Two practical tips. Book a morning or late-afternoon slot for the softest light and calmest water. And tell us if you are travelling with a larger group: the boat takes up to eleven guests plus the skipper, and the price is per boat, not per person.

To check a date, open the online booking page, choose the duration and select Bellagio as your boarding area. The calendar shows the real availability, and a deposit confirms the booking.
